Privacy policy

What this site collects

Nothing, until you use the contact form or the link checker. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel, no tag manager, and no cookie of any kind, including the ones most sites set for their own statistics. Nothing is stored in your browser, and nothing about your visit is recorded by me.

There are two exceptions, and each acts only when you press its button. The contact form sends your website address, email address and message to me. The link checker sends the URLs you enter to my server, which fetches each page once, returns the result and keeps nothing. If you press neither, nothing leaves your browser.

You can verify that: open your browser's developer tools, look at Application → Cookies and Storage, and at the Network tab. Storage will be empty, and the Network tab will show this site's own pages, stylesheet and font until the moment you send a message.

What the hosting provider sees

This site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web server, Cloudflare processes the technical details required to deliver a page: your IP address, the time of the request, the page requested, your browser's user-agent, and similar connection data. Cloudflare uses this to serve traffic, block attacks and produce aggregate infrastructure statistics. Contact form submissions pass through Cloudflare on their way to me.

I do not have access to individual visitor records, and I don't request them. Cloudflare acts as the data processor here under its own privacy terms.

When you message me

Enquiries reach me through the contact form, email (max@ruleyourrankings.com), Telegram (@RuleYourCrowd), WhatsApp or Upwork.

The form does not store anything on this site. It passes your message to Resend, an email delivery service, which emails it to my inbox; Resend processes it under its own privacy terms. Whatever you send by email, Telegram, WhatsApp or Upwork is held by that service under its own policy. If you message on WhatsApp, that platform also sees your phone number, which is inherent to how it works.

I keep the details of an enquiry for as long as it takes to answer it, and for as long as I need them if you become a client. Order history exists so that repeat orders never reuse the same properties. Ask me to delete your details and I will.

Client work

If you order, I hold what the work requires: your site URL, target pages, anchors, and the delivery report. That report is yours; I don't publish it, and any sample report shown on this site has client names and target URLs removed.

I do not sell, rent or share client data. I do not add clients to a mailing list, because there isn't one.

Links to other sites

This site links out to Telegram, WhatsApp, Upwork and Fiverr. Following those links takes you to services with their own privacy policies, which apply from the moment you arrive there. Nothing loads from them while you are on this site.

Your rights

If you are in the UK, EU or another jurisdiction with comparable law, you have the right to ask what personal data is held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to its processing. Since this website collects nothing beyond what you type into the contact form, such a request would only concern an enquiry or order you sent me.

Changes

If this site ever adds analytics, changes how the contact form is delivered, or adds anything else that collects data, this page gets updated on the same day the change goes live, not afterwards.
